Recap...Women's Hair Night

We hope everyone had fun at hair night and learned some new ideas and tips!

Kelli taught us the 7 different face shapes: Oval (ideal), square, oblong, heart, triangle, round, and diamond. Which are you?

We also learned about different kinds of brushes and what types of hair you would use them on.

Last we learned curling iron techniques. Tiffany Lee was visiting and she was Kelli's model! (It was so fun to see her, we miss you Tiffany!)

April and Michelle figure out what face shapes they have.

Recap...Cooking Club

Thanks April for teaching use our wonderful class on cheesecakes! They were absolutely delicious! I know we are all excited to try out this new recipe and all the yummy toppings!
For those of you who weren't able to make it here is the recipe and some fun pictures of the activity!
Graham Cracker Crust
1 1/2 c. graham crackers, crushed
1/3c. butter, melted
3T. sugar
-Mix all ingredients and press into pan. Bake 10 mins at 350.

White Chocolate Cheesecake
3 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/4c. cream or half and half
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs lightly beaten
1 pkg. (12 oz.) white chocolate chips, melted
-Beat the cream cheese, sugar, cream, and vanilla until well blended
-Beat eggs in separate bowl and then add to mixture, beat on low speed until combined. Stir in melted chocolate
-Pour into crust. Place pan on a cookie sheet/baking dish that is covered in a double layer of foil. Fold up foil onto the edges of cheesecake to prevent edges from burning.
-Fill the larger pan with an inch of water.
-Bake for 65-70 mins. at 350 until center is just set. Cool for 10 mins. Carefully run knife around edge to loosen.
-Cool 1 hour longer and then refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. Top with desired sauce or fruit.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Caramel Cheesecake
Same recipe as above just add in 1/2 cup macadamia nuts after mixing in chocolate.
Top with macadamia nuts and caramel topping.

Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake
Same as above but substitute 12 crushed Oreos for crust and milk chocolate for the white chocolate chips.
Mix remaining package of Oreos (reserving 1/2c. for topping)
Top with reserved Oreos
